This beautiful two-tone red and burgundy bike has taken me to the four corners of the continent in total comfort. I have owned a number of Harleys but this one is by far the most reliable and most comfortable. These late model Twin Cooled High Output 103’s were thoroughly perfected by Harley, and are probably the best engine Harley has produced – extremely reliable, very powerful and pass with ease even loaded up. With the twin cooling, it is very comfortable to ride in hot weather. Being a Ultra Limited, this bike has the High Output 103" engine which has 10% more power than the standard 103's. While clearly not a sport bike, it is remarkably capable and fun to ride in the curves. This was the first year of Project Rushmore which gives features such as vented lower fairings, windshield and fairing vents for less buffeting, ergonomic handlebar controls, one-hand latches on saddle bags and tour pack, twin cooled heads, exhaust and engine heat shields, stiffer front forks, adjustable rear air suspension, cruise control, reflex linked Brembo brakes, improved ABS, hydraulic clutch, LED head light and fog lights, heated hand grips, and a great infotainment system including GPS, two power ports and many more improvement over previous models. This bike handles exceptionally well on all surfaces (even gravel) and has killer brakes. Some of the added features of this bike are: 1. Stage 1 with Vance and Hines slip-ons, and Screaming Eagle high flow air filter 2. Fully adjustable and articulated highway pegs 3. Front fork tie down lugs 4. Saddle bag guards 5. Work done at that time included new tires, new brakes, new belt, new clutch starter switch, new sprockets, new wheel and sprocket bearings, new compensator, new muffler mounts, and the seat replaced. This bike has never been in an accident, never been damaged or dropped. And apart from travelling, the bike has always been garage kept. The bike is in excellent condition.
