Learn more about us at https://colborenovations.com/ Job details: • Location: Edmonton & Surrounding Area, AB • Job type: Permanent, Full time • Hourly wage: $29.00 Requirements: • Education: Secondary school • Proven experience as a carpenter (2-3 years) • Good knowledge of English Main duties: • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, determine specifications, prepare layouts accordingly; • Measuring, cutting, assembling and joining materials produces of wood, fiberglass, lightweight steel, etc.; • Building different construction structures, systems and forms using wooden materials; • Fitting and installing different trim items (doors, stairs, hardware, etc.) as required; • Repairing and renovating construction wooden structures; • Ability to operate and maintain measuring, hand and power carpentry tools; • Supervising helpers and apprentices; • Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
