The Action Group

The Action Group is a non-profit organization that provides a range of services to adults and children with disabilities in Central Alberta. The Action Group is dedicated to engaging individuals and inspiring them to become leaders in their own lives. We are currently recruiting Community Disability Support Practitioners (CDSP). CDSPs provide supports to our individuals in both residential and community settings, to assist in all aspects of their daily lives. Qualifications Must have confidence in providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behaviours Must have experience working with/implementing Behaviour Support Plans Comfortable with providing various levels of personal care Creativity Patience Ability to work under pressure Able to work closely with a team Requirements Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle Successful candidates must provide a Criminal Record; and may be required to provide a Child Intervention Record&nbsp Emergency Level C First Aid (within first three months of hire) High School Diploma, plus a recognized certificate in a related field (e.g. Foundations) What we can offer Full-time and part-time positions $19.50/hour with weekend shift enhancement Various shifts available Company benefit plan after 6 months for qualifying positions RRSP after 2 years We thank all applicants who apply, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
