On Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM seniors and their families will be invited to attend a forum at Westend Seniors Activity Centre, located at 9629 ? 176 Street in Edmonton, to review and discuss the various concerns and options regarding personal transportation. During this five and a half hour event knowledgeable speakers will give presentations on maintaining driving skills, driver fitness awareness, transition from driver to passenger, and the various options for passengers. This forum should appeal to seniors who want to remain independent and able to access the community.
Cost: $7 in advance or $10 at the door. A light lunch will be included. Tickets will be available at Westend Seniors Activity Centre. For more information ? please call 780-483-1209
